There is John O'Groats in the North-East of Scotland, with its stunning views of Orkney... .. but much closer to Edinburgh & Glasgow is the most southerly point in Scotland - the Mull of Galloway - with its stunning views of Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Lake District. Two locations - one at the extreme of the North-East and the other at the extreme of the South-West. The challenge for the discerning and adventurous tourist is to work out the most interesting itinery between the two locations that can be done in 7 days that draws in the best that Scotland can offer.
The following photos reveal the splendor of the 19th century lighthouse, which is the centre-piece to the
Mull of Galloway Experience - a unique experience which caters for many interests, and, moreover, symbolises the most southerly point in Scotland
